Jabber Five acquired a non-performing loan from a national Bank that was collateralized by 15,000 of Class A Retail space, 2 shell buildings and 22 garaged parking spaces. While under contract to buy the loan, Jabber Five sold its interests in the shell buildings and the parking and retained the retail space located on the ground floor of an 88-unit condo building. Just 25% occupied at the time of acquisition, Jabber Five leased the available space to national retailers including Chipotle & Pet Valu. Less than 24 months after executing its Business Plan, Jabber Five sold the Property for $340 PSF, one of the highest PSF prices paid for a retail property in the history of Baltimore City.
